Revenge comes watered down but watchable in this undemanding comedy that sees two 20-somethings try to sabotage their ex-friend's perfect wedding for betraying a mutual childhood pal. A feisty Raven-Symoné and Joanna Garcia have a natural chemistry as the loyal mates whose increasingly far-fetched attempts at payback cause headaches for the cartoonish, southern belle bride and her stereotypically controlling mother. Some amusing dialogue and a big dollop of romance keep the tone light and frothy rather than caustic, which leads to the kind of contrived and clichéd conclusion you'd expect from a TV movie. Young teenage girls should find the film fun, though it's probably way too restrained and ultimately saccharine for older viewers.
